Guest House Rules

 

Responsible Person - The person responsible for making the reservation must be the one to check in the family or group at the office. A rental agreement must be signed, proof of ID and a valid credit card must be presented at check-in. A $200 Property Damage Deposit will be taken with a valid credit card on the day of your arrival. Any damages or fees imposed by you, your guests and/or your visitors during your stay, is the sole responsibility of the initial person making the reservation. Must be 25 years of age or older to reserve the Guest House.

Arrival - All members of your party must check into the office upon arriving at the property. They must receive their own car pass, map and rules. Check-in times are between 3pm-9:30pm. No one in your party is allowed to check-in after 10 PM. Late arrivals are not allowed. A map to find the house will be given upon arrival along with a car pass for each car, with information about the campground gate and house lock codes.

Departure - All members of your party must check out of the Guest House by 10am. and depart the property (including the pool and campground property) by 12 noon on the day of your departure date. If your family or friends are camping in the campground and are staying past your departure time and you would like to visit with them at their campsite or pool, there is a $8 adult & $5 child visitor’s fee, which is valid until 10pm when all visitors must leave the property.

     

Maximum Occupancy

Maximum Occupancy is six (6) people (2022) and 10 people starting in 2023. If your party equals more than 6 quests, you are required to rent the second floor of the house. Please DO NOT exceed the maximum occupancy per the NC Fire Code rules. You are required to notify the office of the total amount of people staying in the Guest House prior to arriving. This will help us ensure there are the proper number of linens, bedding and kitchen supplies to meet the needs of your group.  Over occupancy & un-registered guests will not be allowed.

Visitors & Extra Guests. You are required to notify the office of the total amount of people staying in the Guest House prior to your arrival. Visitors and family already staying with us in the campground are welcome to visit during the day at no additional fee. If your guests stay overnight, there are additional fees. You know, the grandkids that came with mom and dad in their camper but want to stay with grandma & grandpa because they are cool to hang out with and want a slumber party with them for the night (will use extra overnight living space & linens).

Outside Visitors are welcome if you notify us that they are coming. Please let us know if they are overnight guests or day visitors. All day visitor passes are valid from 8am until 10pm when your guests must leave the property. Day passes include full use of the Guest House and campground amenities. Adult day passes are $8 for each adult and $5 for each child. Maximum occupancy of house guests and visitors is only 12 people. No parties allowed.

NO PARTIES ALLOWED.  Parties, events, or unregistered guests are not allowed. No more than MAX 12 total guests and visitors at the Guest House at one time. Over occupancy & un-registered guests will not be allowed. (May be subjected to the removal of all the guests from the property).

 

Rental Rules

Please do not take any Guest House property outside the house, this includes towels, linens, furniture, etc.. The only exception is pool towels which are provided and located in the hall closet. Do not leave pool towels by the pool. If the towels don’t get returned to the house or are lost or stolen, you will be charged for each replacement towel. Do not wash pool towels with any other linens.

Pets are not allowed in the Guest House or on the Guest House property. This includes all types of animals whether they are kept in a create or are outside animals. Please remind your guests or registered visitors that pets are not allowed. If evidence is found from a pet, either left in the yard or in the house, you will be charged a $200 cleaning fee.

Smoking, vaping, or illegal substances are not allowed.  We also don’t allow candles, incense, or diffusers in the house. Air purifiers in the bedrooms will not eliminate the smell from smoke. Smoking can be done outside with the doors and windows closed and at least 50 feet away from both air handlers (located on each side of the house). A $200 fine will be assessed for any evidence of smoking or smell of any smoke in the house.

Mountain Bikes are not allowed inside the house. You may keep them on the front porch, locked to the railing or posts of the side or back door stairs or you may opt to lock them on or in your vehicles. Cameras will record any activity at or around the house. This is not a 100% guarantee that personal items won’t be stolen. Notify the office of any theft and we will review camera footage and submit footage to the local authorities.

Food & Drinks are not allowed in any of the bedrooms. Do not re-arrange the furniture. If you choose to not use the extra pillows or comforters, please use the shelves in the closet to store them.

Parking – There is only room to park 4 cars in front and on the side of the house. Additional cars must be parked in the pool parking area or the parking lot in front of the campground office. Walk or carpool down to the Guest House. Please keep all vehicles parked on the gravel. Do not park on the grass or in the yard. You will be charged for damage to the grass, wall, or banks if they are ruined or driven over. We are not responsible for digging out or towing your vehicle if you drive off the sides of the banks.

RVs, tents, trailers, large vans, or utility trailers are not allowed on the guest house property.  Guests can rent a site in the campground that will accommodate them. Tents that are put up in the yard of the guest house will damage the grass and you will be charged an additional camping fee. Utility trailers cannot turn around safely.

Fires are not allowed in any grassy areas or in the driveway of the guest house. All fires must be contained in the fire pit provided. Do not move the fire pit. We have kiln dried firewood for sale in the campground store. Do not dump hot charcoal on the ground or in the woods. Do not dispose deep fryer oil anywhere on the property or in the sink drains. Let the oil cool and funnel it back into the container it came with and secure the lid.

Garbage must be removed from all trash receptacles in the house. Extra trash bags can be found in the Laundry Room. Please bring all trash to the Campground dumpsters which are in the parking lot of the Campground Office.

     
     
     

All store purchases are payable by CASH or credit card totaling over $10. Personal checks are not accepted.
